WCNC's Larry Sprinkle interviewed Andy during Valentines and called this bark 'Sweet with Heat' and he's right.

A Balance of Flavors & Heat

Like any of our spicy products we like a balance between flavor and heat. Peppers by nature have some great flavor properties. An ancho pepper has a wonderful raisin / plum like taste and when combined with blueberries--well it's a great combo. The heat source are serrano peppers so you don't really catch the heat until you start to swallow. It builds a bit, levels off, and you are left with a nice warm buzz.

For the Hotter than Hot Crowd

Now Andy is continually (jokingly) harassed by the spicy contingent of local chocolate lovers to create an even hotter version. The recipe is still in flux but he's managed to use some Piquin peppers to  bump up the heat quite well so the heat / spice is enjoyed on the lips, tongue and through the swallow. It may not be enough for the die-hard-habanaero-swallowers but it is quite a treat if you like the heat. Order accordingly.

Superb chocolates & fantastic variety

Love the dark chocolate/blueberry bark as an everyday healthy treat. Skeptical before I tasted these, but the flavor is extraordinary. Always love their truffles and bonbons. Exquisite and you can save $ cause you won’t be tempted by everyday candy after these. That’s my opinion! Cake pop decorating kit great gift for all ages. Thanks, sweet, talented, dedicated chocolatiers!!

Sweet & Heat

The family really knows how to pack a little punch in a lot of flavor. This sweet treat has a nice kick of heat but not enough to make you not love the flavor. I hear Andy's working on something xtra hot with ghost peppers soon--watch out!
